In our house, the smell of sorrel boiling on the stove meant company was coming over and there was going to be a celebration. It was a holiday, easter, christmas, new years or someones birthday and there was going to be a party. Foods we didn’t eat every day were bubbling and people were buzzing around the kitchen eager to get a taste. Curry goat was prepared in massive quaNTITIES, OXTAIL WAS BRAISED AND READY, ROTI WAS SMELLING DELICIOUS AND PEPPER SAUCE WAS PUNGENT AND HAD PEOPLE SALIVATING.
To this day thOSE SMELLS EVOKE those same emotions. tHESE THINGS ARE always a part our our celebrations we hope you make THEM a part of yours.
